So, originally, I was going to make the film in stop motion. But after some thought about the style I'm wanting to push in the film, I decided to go all digital! The film is now going to be 2D animated illustrations. Think of a painting that you watch, literally a "moving picture".
Everything will be drawn out, then loaded into After Effects and turned into digital puppets. From there the environments will be built from layering 2D images to give the illusion of an environment with depth. Keep in mind I've never done this type of animation before!
